The event is postponed in the interest of Visitors and Exhibitors due to the critical issues related to Covid.
Carrara, 3 September 2020
After the cancellation, last March, of the Geneva Motor Show, which will not even take place in 2021, and the postponement of most of the other sector events,
4×4 Fest is the last event dedicated to the automotive world to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Given the complexity of the current economic framework and the persistence of issues of criticality in terms of health safety, IMM_CarraraFiere is forced to postpone the 2020 edition of the show, originally due to take place from October 9 to 1 1 at CarraraFiere Exhibition Centre.
The decision comes after in-depth technical checks on the feasibility of the event: to date, the persistence of structural uncertainty with respect to the evolution of the health situation and to the instructions provided in terms of anti-Covid regulations, do not ensure a smooth running of the event in full safety for Visitors and Exhibitors.
Protecting the Exhibitors’ health is, indeed, considered by the organisers as fundamental as giving them the opportunity to present themselves to the best of their ability: a goal which the instability of the present health and economic context cannot guarantee, constituting possible disadvantage for the success of the show, also in terms of visits.
The IMM_CarraraFiere team is, however, still currently working along with the historical technical partner F.I.F. (Italian Off-road Federation) in order to verify the possibility of organising a celebrative-gathering moment in the same dates scheduled for the show, through the collateral initiatives that have always distinguished the 4×4 Fest.
