Beach Village (with a focus on eco-sustainability) and Mud Café, the two main new features of the 4X4Fest 2019, but also a renewed outdoor track and the return of the Rosa Integrale meeting, promoted by IMM_CarraraFiere from 11 to 13 October

Carrara, 29 July 2019

CarrararaFiere is continuing its preparations for the nineteenth edition of the only Italian four-wheel drive show with the new hashtag 2019 # 4X4LIFE PASSIONE INTEGRALE for off-road vehicles and SUVs, motorcycles and quads, thanks to the invaluable technical support of the Instructors of the FIF (Italian Off-Road Federation), 4x4Fest’s trusted partner, since the first edition.

One of the highlights of the event is the possibility for private individuals to access the beach (usable exclusively during the three days of the 4x4Fest) in their own vehicles, on a circuit right on the beach designed specifically by the FIF, respecting the surrounding environment. This year, Carrara beach will be hosting an actual Village with exhibition and hospitality areas. Interested Exhibitors can use the Beach Village for visitors to test-drive their vehicles on the specifically designed beach circuit, in complete safety. There is already great anticipation for the test run of the SHERP which can move both on sand and at sea.  Imm_CarraraFiere is very conscious of the territory and the environment and this year, in collaboration with Nausicaa (a multi-services company of the Municipality of Carrara born in April 2019, from the merger by incorporation of Apuafarma SpA into Amia SpA, waste services), it will be creating ecological islands on the beach aimed at separate waste collection, undertaking an “educational” project to promote good practice in terms of waste disposal. The 4x4Fest organisers are also working on a “Plastic Free” project with the aim of extending it to the entire exhibition area, including an area in the halls open to children with entertainers who will be offering environmental awareness and recycling activities.

The brand-new Mud Café area in Hall B is equipped with a stage and maxi-screen and a hospitality area that is also open to Exhibitors. It is a sort of dynamic living room that will be staging screenings, presentations and meetings with guests from the world of motors and sport every day.  The programme, which is currently being defined, already includes the presentation of the 2020 Dakar, the much-awaited return of the Rosa Integrale meeting and the award ceremonies as well as product presentations and travel offers.  Garmin, which will be present at the event from this year with its own stand, will also be using the Mud Café to present some of its top products. An area dedicated to the customisation of the most extreme vehicles will attract the most curious visitors with a fully-dressed off-road vehicle and a Ducati Monster motorcycle that will be customised live during the event by an artist thanks to the support of RT EARTH and its reporter and photographer Matteo Marinelli, under the guidance of QuattroXQuattro Evolution, directed by Gianluca Vittori, Media Partner of 4x4Fest.  (for participation and information:

The outdoor circuit, the pulsing fulcrum of the 4x4Fest, is where the vehicles made available by the manufacturers can be tested and where the heart-pounding performances of the CIVF pilots, the Dakar trucks, the competitions for spectacular vehicles and quad bikes can be seen. The circuit has been renewed according to precise instructions given by Carrarafiere relying on its technical Partner FIF to find a perfect synthesis between safety and extravaganza. The aim was to create something new that would also enhance the obstacles and outdoor activities, for the benefit of enthusiasts and operators in the sector alike.  The entrance to the test drives, this year, is directly from the head offices building, making the shows easier to reach and improving their visibility, plus a new obstacle is positioned in the area of maximum visibility facing the halls.

Finally, the second edition of ROSA INTEGRALE, the competition open to all women who love off-road vehicles. The 2020 INTEGRAL ROSA Calendar Contest, organised in collaboration with Off-road Lifestyle, directed by Paolo Baraldi, will remain open until 6 September 2019.  To participate, just send a photograph of you in your vehicle. The 15 selected finalists will be hosted by IMM_CarraraFiere on the weekend of 28-29 September to participate in the calendar shooting (info on
