4x4Fest 2016 goes beyond all expectations

The exhibiting surface gets larger, the number of participating brands increases, the number of visitors gets higher, among them also the foreign ones,  two Italian previews and important news from the Brands, opening to the bike sector, zero edition of the Saturday evening show with the opening of the outdoor track and free entrance for everyone, and many other events and shows on track and on the beach

The 16th edition of 4x4Fest closes down with records that go beyond all rosiest expectations, filling the organisers and the exhibitors with satisfaction.

Visitors coming from all over Italy and also  from abroad reached peak 32.000, breaking the 2015 record: “These numbers demonstrate that trade shows work when they meet the companies’ needs and when hard work to guarantee quality visitors is carried on. It is a virtuous system that allows us, year after year, to have the exhibitors’ trust renewed;  exhibitors choose to participate in our fair to launch their new cars and invest more and more on their stands” – that is the comment of Fabio Felici, President of CarraraFiere, who continues: “The same virtuous mechanism that allows  us to increase the number of visitors every year through word of mouth (which besides  new promotion and marketing strategies still remains an essential tool) and obviously thanks to an accurate and professional communication plan which has brought the fair name  also abroad”.

200 participating brands (against the 175 of last year, around 50% foreign) spread on the 52.000 sq.m surface occupied by the exhibiting stands (against the 40.000 sq.m of the previous edition) have welcomed the mass of visitors: this year, for the first time, a number of foreign visitors and  foreign media have chosen to visit 4x4Fest as a confirmation of the significant increased appeal of the event abroad. 100 direct car-accessory dealers (5 of them foreign) and many more Car and Motorcycle Companies and  Tyre Partners with big news: Can-Am, Yokohama, Jeep, KTM, Land Rover, M.M. Automobili Italia, with the new ASX National preview, Overgom, Polaris, SsangYong and Suzuki Italia with JIMNY SHIN-SEI national preview, and finally, Toyota Motor Italia attending the Fair for the first time. This year, CarraraFiere has bet on the opening of the fair to a wider public, proposing the opening of the outdoor track areas on Saturday night and expanding the offer to the bike world: the Bike Italy Expo occupied a 12.000 sq.m. area with the in Pavilion E and organised the Road Test in the outdoor Area.

The Italian regions with the highest  number of exhibitors were: Lombardia, Toscana, Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Piemonte, Veneto, Sicilia, Liguria, Trentino Alto Adige, Abruzzo, Calabria, Campania, Marche, Puglia and Umbria, to prove that the automotive sector and all connected services are deeply rooted in the national territory and boast important manufacturers all over Italy.
